Kinosoo Ridge Snow Resort closed for season

Published On: March 16, 2020By

Kinosoo Ridge skill hill is now closed for the season, the M.D. of Bonnyville announced on Monday.

“In an effort to help slow the spread of COVID-19, as of today, Kinosoo Ridge Snow Resort will be closed to the public for the rest of the 2020 season.

“Alberta’s Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Deena Hinshaw, has encouraged all Albertans to practice social distancing to help slow the spread of COVID-19.

“It is because of that encouragement, management has decided to close the ski hill, as we cannot ensure the requirements for social distancing.

“The M.D. wants to assure residents that M.D. offices are still open for business, and services will continue to be delivered.

“We have a framework in place to make sure residents will continue to have access to essential services.

“The situation with COVID-19 has been changing rapidly, and we will continue to follow directives from Dr. Hinshaw and protect the health of our residents, which is our top priority.”
