Ashlin Gymnastics taking extra precautions, will remain open

“With the ever-growing COVID-19 pandemic, we would like to take a moment to let everyone know that we have instituted extra procedures to disinfect common areas and surfaces that are being used and touched.

“We understand the concerns of our members/visitors and are doing what we can to try and mitigate as many risks as possible.

“Regular classes will continue at this time, (winter session will be done next week), all bookings and
drop-ins will continue at this time.

“Please understand that the information and suggested protocols are rapidly changing and this may change in the coming days.

“At any point the Alberta Health Services recommendations change due to this Pandemic, the gym will be closed immediately.

“In an effort to ensure safety of all our participants in the gym, the following precautions will be taken:

1) We ask that anyone who is feeling at all unwell, please not attend class. This includes but is
not limited to cough, fever, runny nose.

2) We will be increasing cleaning protocols within the gym including all equipment, railings, door
handles, light switches and washrooms.

3) All athletes will be required to wash their hands prior to entering the gym and leaving. Hand
sanitizer will always be available. We will be asking coaches to help remind children to wash
their hands frequently and avoid touching their faces.

4) Any child who attends class and appears unwell will be asked to leave class immediately. This
will be at the sole discretion of the Ashlin Gymnastics Coaches to make that determination.”
