Police arrested two people after Bonnyville RCMP located a stolen ATV.

A report came to police on Tuesday to report a red ATV parked behind a house in Kehewin.

They located the ATV which was reported stolen after a break and enter on a rural property on Jan. 31.

23-year-old Jacob John was arrested and charged with possession of stolen property and remanded into custody for a Judicial Interim Release hearing.

A 21-year-old female from Bonnyville was also charged and later released with a release order.

Liquor thief remanded on outstanding warrants

Bonnyville RCMP responded to a theft at Ace Liquor on Monday afternoon.

Police attended and confirmed the identity of the suspect through video footage on-site.

They located and arrested 44-year-old Travis Slipichuk for theft as well as outstanding warrants and breaches.

His first court appearance was Thursday where he was remanded into custody.

His next court appearance is March 5.
