Community Volunteer Income Tax Program returns in Elk Point and the County of St. Paul
The County of St. Paul and Elk Point FCSS has partnered with the Canada Revenue Agency to bring you the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program. Trained Volunteers will be completing income tax returns, free of charge, for those who live in the County of St. Paul and the Town of Elk Point and who qualify this Tax Season.
To qualify:
A single person earning up to $30,000 annually A couple earning up to $40,000 annually
One adult with child earning up to $35,000 (adding $2500 for each additional dependent)
This service cannot be offered for those claiming:
- bankruptcy
- capital gain or losses
- self-employed individuals
- employment expenses
- rental income
- estates
- new Canadian citizens claiming for their first time
From March 2nd till April 30th any qualifying County & Town of Elk Point resident can drop off their taxes at the County administration office Monday to Friday or Elk Point FCSS office (Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday)
From 8:30am-12:00pm & 1:00pm – 4:30pm.

March 9th in Mallaig from 10:00am – 12:00pm at the Seniors Centre March 10th in Elk Point from 9:00am – 1:00pm at the Elk Point Lodge March 11th in Ashmont from 9:00am-1:00pm at the Seniors Lodge March 25th St. Paul from 9:00am- 1:00pm at Sunny Side Manor
