Two Cold Lake Emergency Service members talking to kids as part of the Youth Achievement Program.

The City of Cold Lake organized a Youth Achievement Program at the Cold Lake Middle School.

The event was meant to provide guidance to adolescents as they prepare to enter high school and seek to achieve career goals for the future.

In attendance was the Cold Lake RCMP, Cold Lake Municipal Enforcement, Cold Lake Fire-Rescue, and Cold Lake Ambulance Society.

Constable Thomas Harris and Peace Officer Simon Crevier spoke to grade seven and eight students and answered questions related to the hiring process, the importance of physical fitness, and respecting rules and law.

Organizer Megan Beaudoin thanked all the agencies for their commitment to our youth and for a fantastic afternoon.
