The hockey season has come to an end for many teams in the region.

The Cold Lake Bantam Ice went 1-1-2 while hosting Bantam A Provincials at the Energy Centre this weekend.

Thursday night, Cold Lake lost with three seconds left 4-3 to eventual champs NWZ Outlaws from Edmonton 4-3.

A pair of ties on Friday sealed their fate that they would not advance to Sunday’s semifinal. They tied Sherwood Park 4-4 and with Westlock 2-2.

Saturday they whipped Lethbridge 11-2 in their final tournament game.

Cold Lake’s atom team reached the semi-final at Provincials in Calgary before bowing out.
