A grade 11 student from Assumption Junior-Senior High School, Bronwyn Wareham has been selected for the Green and Gold Getaway program.
The program is offered through the University of Alberta as a two-day event for grade 11 students from across Alberta. Hundreds of students apply, but they only select twenty. It is an opportunity to get away and experience a Top 5 university in Canada.
The adventure will include transportation, accommodation and a whirlwind weekend of exciting events. Students will stay in residence, check out state-of-the-art facilities, learn about the university’s 200+ programs, uncover hidden gems on campus, and experience University of Alberta student life.
Students will get to meet other amazing students – perhaps some future Golden Bears and Pandas – from all across Alberta. Organizers are looking for well-rounded high school students from across Alberta who want to experience the University of Alberta first-hand.
Congratulations Bronwyn on being selected to participate in this exciting and prestigious program.
