Caught: RCMP find Boudreau and Boucher wanted for first-degree murder
Police have located and arrested Lloyd Wesley Boudreau and Mandi Leigh Boucher.
The pair were wanted in connection to the homicide of Michael Mountain since Nov. 2017.
Mountain was murdered Oct. 28th, 2017 in Lac La Biche.
RCMP issued an arrest warrant on Nov. 7th, 2017 for Lloyd Wesley Boudreau. Shortly there after an arrest warrant was issued for Mandi Leigh Boucher in connection to the crime.
On Jan. 20, 2019 at approximately 4:00 p.m., the RCMP Emergency Response Team along with Two Hills RCMP, RCMP Major Crimes Unit, Alberta Sheriff’s, RCMP Police Dog Services and the Eastern Alberta District Rural Crime Reduction Unit attended a residence in Two Hills.
Lloyd Wesley Boudreau (23), who was wanted in connection with the first degree murder investigation of 26-year-old Michael Matthew Mountain, was taken into custody without incident.
Police also arrested Mandi Leigh Boucher (26) at the residence and have charged her with accessory to murder in the homicide of Michael Mountain.
Boudreau and Boucher were remanded into custody and will be appearing in St. Paul Provincial Court on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019.
