Bonnyville and Cold Lake RCMP arrest four after finding vehicle involved in hit and run

On November 28, 2018 at approximately 9:00 p.m., Bonnyville RCMP were actively patrolling an area when they spotted a vehicle that was involved in a hit and run involving a Cold Lake police car.

When Bonnyville RCMP attempted to pull the vehicle over it fled at a high rate of speed.  Bonnyville RCMP requested Cold Lake members & Police Dog Services assist with the fleeing vehicle.

A joint effort between Bonnyville/Cold Lake RCMP & RCMP Police dog service members resulted in the apprehension of four individuals after a tire deflation device was successfully deployed.

Three of the individuals were apprehended on scene while the fourth male was arrested by the Police service dog member after he fled on foot.

Two of the individuals are linked to other offences that have occurred in the Bonnyville & Cold Lake area.

The following individuals were arrested and will appear before the courts on the following charges.

Cody Raymond White, a 31-year-old male is charged with:

         Possession of Stolen Property obtained by crime (over $5000.00)

         Operation of a Motor Vehicle while being pursued by Police

         Resists/obstruct peace officer

         Drive while disqualified/prohibited

         Fail to comply with a Probation Order

Jillian Maria Kathleen Dumontier, a 31-year-old female is charged with:

        Possession of Stolen Property obtained by crime (over $5000.00)

         Fail to comply with an Undertaking

         Fail to comply with an Recognizance

Darcy Lee Klassen, a 35-year-old male is charged with:

        Possession of Stolen Property obtained by crime (over $5000.00)

Cassie Rebecca FLEMING, a 28-year-old female is charged with:

        Possession of Stolen Property obtained by crime (over $5000.00)

Cody Raymond White was remanded into custody and will appear before the courts December 12^th, 2018 regarding his Cold Lake charges and December 18^th, 2018 regarding his Bonnyville charges.  The three other individuals were brought before a justice & released to appear before the courts in Bonnyville, on December 18^th, 2018.
