Portage College locked down as RCMP chase two suspects
UPDATE:
RCMP have confirmed that the lockdown at Portage College has ended. A second male suspect has been taken into custody without incident. Lac La Biche RCMP would like to the public for their co-operation.

BACKGROUND:
Lac La Biche RCMP, Eastern Alberta Crime Reduction Unit, and Police Dog Services are currently on scene at Portage College in Lac La Biche.
Police attempted to apprehend two male suspects when they fled in a vehicle. The vehicle was stooped and the males fled from police on foot. One male was apprehended by Police Dog Services and sustained minor injuries. The other male entered Portage College.
The school was notified and locked down. Members currently have the college contained and are cleaning and evacuating the building.
Police are asking the public to stay away from the area until the investigation is complete.
