Winter Storm Warning
Environment Canada has issued a winter storm warning for certain parts of Alberta; the Lakeland region.
Rain or freezing rain will develop this morning before changing to snow this afternoon. Total snowfall amounts of 10 to 15 cm are expected over northern sections of the region. Snow will taper off overnight.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas.
People are reminded to take caution and prepare for the conditions.
