Man Charged After Allegedly Throwing Farmer From Truck

A man has been charged with assault after an incident with a farmer along Highway 28 a couple weeks ago.

Marc Roberge, 36 years old, was charged with one count of assault causing bodily harm after he allegedly threw a farmer out of his vehicle on Oct. 20.

Roberge had apparently waited to pass the farmer convoy, before passing and pulling over. The driver of the farmer convoy stopped, and Roberge kicked the victim’s truck door in and threw him out of the vehicle causing injuries, it is alleged.

The victim stated that he knew Roberge. The 60 year old required stitches for his injury.

The subject turned himself into police shortly after the incident.

There is not much else known about the case at this time.

His court date is Jan. 29, 2019.
