Premier Academy Cheerleading and Tumbling in Bonnyville, Alberta is excited to announce they have found a permenant home. Heading into their second season, the club says they are ecstatic to have a fully renovated facility.

“We came from humble beginnings,” said owner Melissa Kirkendall. “When we first started our program last year we were setting up
and taking down at the Duclos school and are now in a facility with close to 4,000 sq feet of space and offer programs from toddler to adult.”

To celebrate the move into the new facility, Premier Academy is hosting a Grand Opening on Saturday, October 13th from 1-4p.m. Families will be able to enjoy open gym, face painting, trial classes and a BBQ. Deputy Mayor Lorna Storoschuk will be in attendance for the ribbon cutting at 1pm. Followed by a BBQ, some fun, face painting and free trial classes throughout the facility from 3-4pm.

This locally owned, family run business, is now home to over 105 recreational and competitive athletes who participate in cheerleading and tumbling training.

On top of the skill-based component, Premier Academy also proudly incorporates a Character Development program to help shape the leaders for tomorrow. “Our programs are built around the motto that we are building exceptional athletes, learners and leaders,” said Kirkendall.
