During the night of July 31, 2018, Cold Lake RCMP’s General Investigation Section with the assistance of Bonnyville RCMP’s General Investigation Section, executed a search warrant on a residence in Bonnyville Beach.
As a result of the search warrant, 604 grams of cocaine and 430 grams of crack cocaine were seized, in addition to approximately $10,000.00 in cash. The total quantity of cocaine seized was just over 1 Kilogram. An SKS Rifle with ammunition and a vehicle were also seized.
Zachary Ryan Smith, 24 years old of Edmonton, Alberta, has been charged with:

Zachary Smith appeared before a Justice of the Peace and was released on a $2000.00 no cash recognizance to attend Cold Lake Provincial Court on Wednesday, August 22, 2018, at 10:00 a.m.
Dalton Jake Bruyere, 24 years old of Edmonton, Alberta, has been charged with:

Possession of Proceeds of Crime Exceeding $5000.00.

Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose.

Careless Storage of a Firearm.
Dalton Bruyere appeared before a Justice of the Peace and was released on a $2500.00 cash recognizance to attend Cold Lake Provincial Court on Wednesday, August 22, 2018, at 10:00 a.m.
