St. Paul RCMP charge two males with possession of stolen property

On July 16, 2018, while conducting proactive patrols, the St. Paul RCMP located two suspects in an ongoing theft investigation. The males fled and were apprehended after a short pursuit. Police located stolen property at the time of the arrest.

Matthew Moses (29) was charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

  • Theft under $5000
  • Resist or willfully obstruct a peace officer (X2)
  • Breach of an undertaking
  • Possession of property obtained by crime less than or equal to $5000

Moses was released on a Recognizance after a judicial hearing to appear in St. Paul Provincial Court on Aug. 16, 2018.

Taylor Renfrow (18) was charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

  • Theft under $5000
  • Resist or willfully obstruct a peace officer (X2)
  • Possession of break-in instruments
  • Possession of property obtained by crime less than or equal to $5000

Renfrow was released on an Undertaking with conditions to appear in St. Paul Provincial Court July 26, 2018.

Property including a chainsaw, drill, and multiple tools were returned to their rightful owners.
