Project Description: Work of this contract comprises of removal of existing airfield lighting systems, general construction of Apron, Taxiway and Runway Airfield Lighting Systems on Runway 08-26, electrical and architectural shed renovations, windsock installations, beacon tower, provisional guidance signs, power and control systems installations and provisional Runway/Taxiway/Apron markings located at the Elk Point Airport, Alberta.

Pre-Bid Meeting: A non-mandatory pre-tender site visit is scheduled for Saturday June 16th, 2018 at 1:00 PM local time in the Air Terminal Building. Interested bidders are requested to pre-register via e-mail to iasl@shaw.ca A sign-in sheet will be available on site. The pre-tender site visit is subject to cancellation if bidders do not pre-register.

Bid Security: The Tender shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Tender Amount. The bid bond shall be provided in an acceptable form by an agency licensed in the Province where the project is situated. Alternatively the Bidder may provide a Certified Cheque for ten percent (10%) of the Tender Amount.

Additional Requirements: Prime contract bidders shall possess a valid Certificate of Recognition (COR) as issued by the Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA).
