On June 1, 2018, St Paul RCMP were called to a residence in St Paul where an adult male had been assaulted by being sprayed with bear mace. Further investigation led RCMP members to a male youth who fled the area.
Search for the suspect with the assistance of Cold Lake Police Dog Services resulted in the apprehension of the male youth.
The male youth is currently facing several charges, including:
- Assault with a Weapon.
- Resisting a Peace Officer.
The male youth was released pending a first appearance in St Paul Provincial Youth Court.
As this matter is now before the courts no further information will be provided.
