Felix Pike came home with much more than he expected after he ran an errand at a local store. The Cold Lake resident checked his March 23 LOTTO MAX ticket and discovered he won 0,000 on the EXTRA draw.
“I couldn’t believe what I was seeing,” he said. “I had to check my ticket a couple times to count all the zeros.”
Now $100,000 richer, the surprised winner plans to save some of his winnings, pay off some bills and help his children out.
“It’s a nice feeling to be able to put some money away,” he said.
Pike bought and checked his winning LOTTO MAX and EXTRA ticket at Shoppers Drug Mart, located at 6203A 51 Street in Cold Lake.
