During the early morning hours of March 28, 2018, Cold Lake RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence in the City of Cold Lake. As a result of the search warrant, crack cocaine, trafficking paraphernalia and over $10,000.00 in Canadian currency was seized.
As a result of this investigation, Cold Lake RCMP have charged the following adult males:
Ali Khalid, 23 years old of Edmonton, Alberta:
  • Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking.
  • Possession of Proceeds of Crime Over $5000.00
Hassan Salad, 21 years old of Edmonton, Alberta:
  • Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking.
  • Possession of Proceeds of Crime Over $5000.00.
  • Failure to Comply With a Recognizance.
Hassan Shakib, 24 years old of Edmonton, Alberta:
  • Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking.
  • Possession of Proceeds of Crime Over $5000.00.
Ali Khalid, Hassan Salad and Hassan Shakib have since been released on a recognizance, to attend Cold Lake Provincial Court on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at 10:00 a.m.
