On February 23rd the Bonnyville General Investigation Section with the assistance of the Bonnyville Detachment executed a Search Warrant at a residence in a trailer park in the 5500 block on 55 Street in Bonnyville.
Cocaine, meth, illegal pills, drug accessories, a shotgun, and bear spray were located during the search and seized. A 32 year old male and a 27 year old female both from Bonnyville have each been charged with 2 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, 2 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, 2 Weapons related offences and Trafficking in Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000. The male is also charged with 2 additional Weapons offences.
Both accused were released on conditions to appear in Bonnyville Provincial Court on April 3, 2018.
