On February 2nd, 11:25 RCMP received a call of a collision on 54th street in Cold Lake. It was reported that a male who was driving a red truck had struck parked vehicles and attempted to leave the scene. S/Sgt. Jeremie Landry, with the Cold Lake Detachment says RCMP responded and arrested a suspect.
45 year old male from Kehewin, with impaired operation of a motor vehicle. “He was taken back to the detachment and provided breath samples over the legal limit. He has charges pending of impaired operation of a motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle while over 0.08,” S/Sgt. Landry says he also has a charge of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
The man was released for court on February 28th, at 10:00 am, in Cold Lake.
