Yesterday (27 Dec 17) the Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority (BRFA) lost a member of our EMS family in a tragic motor vehicle accident on Highway 897. Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) Cameron Griffiths was traveling to work in Bonnyville from his home in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and was involved in a head-on collision near Lea Park.
Cameron did his PCP practicum with the BRFA in 2016, and then was employed with BRFA in April of 2017. During his time with the service he demonstrated a sheer joy in providing emergency medical care to the community and he will be missed by his co-workers, hospital staff and the people he helped in the community.
The Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority is sadden by this untimely loss and has reached out to his family to support them.
