The polling station closed for the Cold Lake 2017 Municipal Election at 8:00 p.m. today, reporting that 1,814 out of 11,170 eligible voters cast a ballot.
The following are the unofficial results for the 2017 Cold Lake municipal election:
- Larry Ashcroft 648
- Bob Buckle 941
- Murray Gauthier 755
- Jürgen Grau 1,066
- Christopher Neil Hiebert 802
- Lorie Jacobsen 645
- Duane Lay 893
- Vicky Lefebvre 1,166
- Kirk “Rambo” Soroka 1,014
- Chris Vining 1,226
The election was held for six council positions. Cold Lake Mayor Craig Copeland was acclaimed.
Official results will be made available Friday, October 20, 2017.
