The Elk Point Early Childhood Development Committee (ECDC) is bringing in child psychologist Dana Ebel for a special engagement at the Elk Point Library this Saturday. Organizer, Kali Cousins says the engagement will focus on childhood anger and anxiety.

“While speaking in Elk Point, Dana will focus on giving parents of children the tools they need to correctly manage childhood anger as well as childhood anxiety.” Dana Ebel graduated with her Master of Arts degree from Yorkville University in 2012 and is now a practicing psychologist in Edmonton. “While assessing her clients, Dana uses her background in education to determine which strategies will best serve her child and adolescent patients who deal with learning, emotional and behavioral difficulties.”

Cousins says anyone is welcome to attend Saturday’s session. “We would love to have you join us for this free seminar provided by the ECDC (Early Childhood Development Committee) and listen to Dana speak/give tips on these very important topics which you can take home and use in your daily lives.”

If you would like to attend, RSVP with Kali Cousins, by calling or texting 780-614-7978. The free event is sponsored by the Elk Point ECDC.
