On September 30th, the Cold Lake RCMP responded to a vehicle that’s alarm was going off in the Grande Square Cinema parking lot. When police arrived a female was passed out, with music blaring, from being grossly intoxicated. “During the investigation, drugs and money was found inside the vehicle,” explains Constable Leslie Rice with the Cold Lake Detachment.

A 25 year old female, from Cold Lake, was arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking (crack cocaine), adult impaired care & control of a motor vehicle. RCMP seized nearly five grams of crack cocaine and a large amount of Canadian currency. “She’s well-known to the detachment,” Cst. Rice says the female has a history with the RCMP.

The suspect will appear in Cold Lake Provincial Court on October 11th. .
