It’s my one-year anniversary with Lakeland Connect!

Well, it was actually last week…but it’s never too late to celebrate!

I’m not going to talk about a nutrition topic this week. I want to talk about my blog, itself, and my experience with it.

I was nervous to take on this opportunity this time last year. Even though I wasn’t talking about myself, writing still made me feel vulnerable. I wasn’t sure how people would react to the blog and its topics.

After a full year of writing weekly for the Lakeland Connect, I can’t believe how quickly that year went and what a great experience it has been. I’ve been able to write, which is something I have wanted to do for quite a while. I feel like I’ve been able to produce nutrition blogs that provide credible information for the public. And I’ve been able to connect with some of you, and provide answers to your questions.

While I’ve found this to have been a great experience for me, I hope you all have felt this to be a positive experience as well. I’m not always sure I’m writing about topics that everyone wants to know about. I’ve had some questions submitted (which I love!), and this gives me some idea of what the public wants to know about.

I want to thank Jena Colbourne and Lakeland Connect for giving me the opportunity to write this blog. They’ve been a great support! And thank you to everyone who reads my weekly posts. I hope you continue to enjoy the topics. Here’s to another year!

If you have any nutrition topics you would like me to write about or have a question you would like answered, email me at [email protected]. I would really like to hear from you!
