The St. Paul Bengals are off to a good start to the season with two wins, winning over Wainwright in their first game and over Cold Lake this past weekend.
There are a few Elk Point boys on the team, that are making names for themselves with some outstanding plays this weekend. Charlie ‘Chuckles’ Rogal receiving a pass in the first game on the 23 yard line running in for a touch down. ‘Danny Boy’ Cardinal, and bruise brother ” Bazooka Joe’ and Odin ‘the Wall’ Smith all getting in on some big tackles. ‘Chuckles’ sacking the Quarterback in this one a couple of times, the Bengals winning 62 to 0. Second game this past weekend against Cold Lake saw another touchdown by ‘ Chuckles’ who was also in on some more tackles along with the bruise brothers ‘Danny Boy’ and ‘Bazooka Joe’ and Odin ‘the Wall’ Smith of course flattened a few guys too that had to be helped off the field. The final score 44 to 12 for the Bengals.
