On July 27, 2017, Elk Point RCMP responded to a break and enter and theft from a local business in Elk Point. Sometime between Sunday July 23rd and Thursday July 27th, suspect(s) broke into the enterprise’s garage and stole a trailer, two snowmobiles and one side-by-side ATV.
A number of tools and welding equipment were also stolen from the shop. The total value of the stolen equipment is estimated at $100,000.
