Cold Lake RCMP Arrest & Charge Four following Search of Rural Residence

Search Warrant Leads to Arrests and Seizure of Drugs & Stolen Property
On June 27, 2017, following the investigation of multiple break and enters that have occurred in the Cold Lake area, Cold Lake RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence in the MD of Bonnyville.  As a result of this search warrant, (8) people were arrested, numerous firearms were seized, many of which were prohibited and one was confirmed stolen.  Also seized were stolen motorized vehicles, a stolen utility trailer and brass knuckles.  A significant quantity of cocaine, methamphetamine, cannabis marijuana, cash and drug trafficking materials were also seized.
Cold Lake RCMP have charged the following people:
Tyrone Halsey Janvier, 36 years old of the Cold Lake First Nations.  Tyrone Janvier has been released on a Recognizance before a Justice of the Peace to attend Cold Lake Provincial Court on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at 10:00 a.m and has been charged with the following offences:
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine.
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Methamphetamine.
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cannabis Marijuana.
Kyle Roth, 32 years old of Cold Lake.  Kyle Roth has been remanded into custody and will next appear at Cold Lake Provincial Court on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. by CCTV and has been charged with the following offences:
  • Possession of a Firearm While Unauthorized x 7.
  • Possession of a Firearm While Knowing its Possession was Unauthorized x 7.
  • Possession of a Loaded Prohibited Firearm.
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime x 5.
  • Trafficking in Property Obtained by Crime.
  • Operate a Motor Vehicle While Disqualified.
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine.
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Methamphetamine.
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cannabis Marijuana.
Kyle Roth also had warrants for his arrest which were executed at the time of his arrest.
Kaylie Dawn Smith, 21 years old of Cold Lake.  Kaylie Smith has been released on a Recognizance before a Justice of the Peace to attend Cold Lake Provincial Court on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at 10:00 a.m and has been charged with the following offences:
  • Possession of a Firearm While Unauthorized x 7.
  • Possession of a Firearm While Knowing its Possession was Unauthorized x 7.
  • Possession of a Loaded Prohibited Firearm.
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime x 5.
  • Trafficking in Property Obtained by Crime.
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine.
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Methamphetamine.
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cannabis Marijuana.
Guillaume Nelson Gilbert, 26 years old of Cold Lake was arrested on warrants for his arrest and was remanded into custody and will next appear at Cold Lake Provincial Court on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. by CCTV.
The investigation continues as Cold Lake RCMP continue to identify additional charges to be laid on additional suspects.
