Program offers learning opportunities in the aviation field

Representatives from Northern Lights Public Schools and CAE gathered at Art Smith Aviation Academy today to sign a partnership agreement that will provide the school with enhanced learning opportunities for students.
“We are excited to work with CAE to provide Art Smith students with hands-on learning opportunities directly related to the aviation industry,” said Board Chair Mandi Skogen. “Our students will benefit enormously from CAE’s wealth of expertise and experience.”
CAE is a global leader in the delivery of training for the civil aviation, defense and security, and health care markets. Each year, they train more than 120,000 civil and defense crew members, as well as thousands of health care professionals.

“CAE is proud to partner with the Art Smith Aviation Academy, an academic institution that fosters several of our own passions; science, technology, aerospace, and training,” said Joe Armstrong, Vice President and General Manager CAE Canada.

“CAE places great importance on supporting the communities where our employees work and live. Education and special experiences in childhood often spark an interest that we hope will fuel the next generation to fulfil their dreams.”
