Unlicensed driver caught with licence plates that did not match vehicle; no registration or insurance
On February 6th, at 1:25 pm, a member of the Cold Lake RCMP conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on 51st avenue, after noticing that the licence plate did not match the description of the vehicle.
It was then discovered that the driver of the vehicle did not have a licence, nor did the vehicle have registration or insurance. The driver also had outstanding warrants out of Bonnyville and it was suspected that the driver had consumed marihuana.
A 23 year old female, from Cold Lake First Nations was issued a 24 hour suspension for the impaired and given fines for the driving without a licence, registration or insurance.
