On January 27, 2017, at 8:00 p.m. Cold Lake RCMP were dispatched to a crack in the ice on Cold Lake. The crack is anywhere from 5 to 8 feet wide and has made passage to the shore impossible.
RCMP are advising that travel on the ice is not recommended for the time being and to take extreme caution.
