Alberta’s Lexi Strate has been added to the lineup at Kinosoo Ridge’s huge 35th anniversary celebrations, SnöJuhla. Lexi Strate will be opening for Coleman Hell on the Bumper to Bumper Snow Stage on February 18th.
Jurgen Grau, Kinosoo Ridge manager, says it’s great to have some local talent on the Bumper to Bumper Snow Stage, “what’s very cool is she is Albertan and lived in Cold lake for 10 years.” It’s something special for an audience to experience rising artists, says Grau, “she is starting see huge success and we are excited to have her early in her career.”
Strate recently won a Western Canadian Music Award (WCMA) for Pop Artist of the Year. Cover of the Spotify Indie Chillout, just reached 500,000 streams.
Lexi Strate will be performing on the Bumper to Bumper Snow Stage, on Saturday, February 18th, in the afternoon between 1:00 and 6:00 pm. Exact times will be locked down closer to the date.
Kinosoo Ridge is celebrating 35 years on February 18th & 19th with SnöJuhla (Finish for ‘snow celebration’). The hill will be open to skiers, snowboarders and of course, the tube park will be flying people off all ages down the hill.
The all ages celebration will also feature some specialty events, like the kids’ ice slide and a family ice pavilion. For the adults there will be an ice bar, where you can enjoy a specialty brewed Fat Unicorn Kinosoo lager in an ice beer mug.
