5 Charged Following Search of Residence Outside Bonnyville
BONNYVILLE RCMP SEIZE WEAPONS, GUNS, AND DRUGS FROM RURAL LOCATION
On January 1st, 2017 members of Bonnyville RCMP executed a search warrant at a rural property located near RR 463 and Twp Rd. 624 in the MD of Bonnyville. Located inside the residence were 4 firearms including two shot guns and a semi-automatic assault rifle. Additionally members located a large quantity of drug paraphernalia, methamphetamine, ammunition, and numerous cell phones and scales believed to be used in the illegal drug trade.
“We continue to monitor the distribution of illegal drugs including methamphetamine which for the time being appears to be a common drug in the area.” S/Sgt. Luis Gandolfi
