Jared Power has been traded to Olds in exchange for Smith

The Bonnyville Jr A Pontiacs have trades Jared Power to Olds for a ’97 forward, Riley Smith. Smith was on the NHL watch list last season and will be a great addition to the team, says Head Coach Rick Swan.

Swan says it’s always tough making these trades, “Jared was an incredible kid and we wish him all the very best.”

A few other movements were made, says the coach, “we also moved Luddi Adamsen to Dauphin for a player development team. We needed to move Luddi to a better situation which he’ll play a much bigger role with the Kings.” Coach adds that Marc Berry, coach of the Dauphin team is a friend of his and he knows Luddi will be treated well on his new team.

“We also acquired ’97 Dylan Stewart from the WHL,” says Coach Swan. Stewart is 6’2″, 220 lbs and has had 143 games in major juniors.

“Both kids that we acquired are unbelievable character citizens,” states Coach Swan.

The Pontiacs play tonight at the RJ Lalonde in the first of three home games before hitting the road for a long  southern road stretch. WIN tickets to Pontiac games on LCN!
