Ticket bought at Co-op Gas Bar in St. Paul
Victor John checked his LOTTO 6/49 ticket while watching television at home. The Kehewin man soon discovered he’d won 9,638.20 on the October 1 draw.
“I was getting ready to watch the news and remembered I had a ticket to check,” he said. “When I saw it was a winner, I stopped watching the TV and went to double-check it at the Co-Op.”
John said he was surprisingly calm when he discovered his win. “I was surprised, but still calm,” he said. “It was exciting, though.”
The happy winner plans to share his winnings with his family and friends. He also hopes to buy a new car. John purchased his winning LOTTO 6/49 ticket at the St. Paul Co-Op Gas Bar, located at 5005 42 Street in St. Paul.
