One Man in Custody Following Altercation on Main Street St. Paul
33 Year Old Darren Cross has been charged with multiple weapons offenses
On Aug. 29, 2016, at approximately 2:30 p.m., St. Paul RCMP responded to a priority 911 call of an altercation between two males on 50th avenue near 49th street. One man was reported to be armed with a knife. Responding officers located a man attempting to flee the area in the vicinity of the initial complaint. The man was arrested without incident and taken into custody. No one was injured during the event, and a knife matching the description was located by police nearby the incident.
St. Paul RCMP are requesting anyone who witnessed the initial altercation to contact the St. Paul detachment at 780-645-8870.
Darren Cross, a 33-year-old from Frog Lake has been charged with multiple weapons offences, uttering threats, and obstruction of a police officer. He was remanded into custody to appear in St. Paul Provincial Court on Sept. 1, 2016.

One man is in custody following an altercation on main street St. Paul in the afternoon of Monday, August 29th. RCMP received a 911 that there was a male in possession of a knife and making threats towards another male.
When RCMP arrived they found a knife near the scene and arrested one male. Both males were known to each other and the RCMP are not looking for any other suspects. A spokesperson for the St. Paul RCMP Detachment says more details will be released should charges be filed.
