Bonnyville Museum SeptemberFest Sept 10
New Name – Old time Fun at SeptemberFest
Bonnyville Museum’s SeptemberFest builds on the foundation of 8 years of events at the Museum on the same Saturday each September. The event has always been very successful, the crowds have always been great, the weather has always cooperated, and it is one of the main events that the Bonnyville Museum hosts on its grounds each year.
This year’s event has a different name, but the theme is much the same as past years – an old-time family event. “We’re focusing on the family and fun events and activities for kids. We will be offering some hands-on historic demonstrations as well, where guests can try their hand at activities like butter-making, using an old-fashioned washing machine to do laundry, and making caramel apples,” explains friend of the museum, Sue Phillips. “There’ll also have hay wagon rides around the museum grounds.”
Continuing on the tradition of past years, the museum will have a Country Marketplace with a variety of vendors from around the region. “And new to the event this year, we’ll have a ‘Septemberfest Sausage and Beer Tent’,” confirms Phillips. “We’re really looking forward to another awesome September event at the Museum!”
The cornerstone of the Bonnyville & District Museum is welcoming guests to learn about the diverse history and inspiring stories of the region. “We hope to see many new faces, as well as those who have joined us past years, on September 10th.”
