Eight Vehicles, a Crossbow & Ammunition Seized: 2 Cold Lake Men Charged
Search Warrant Leads to Charges and Significant Seizure of Stolen Property
Throughout the day and evening of August 24, 2016, Cold Lake RCMP with the assistance of the RCMP Auto Theft Unit executed a search warrant at a rural property in the MD of Bonnyville. During the search warrant (1) Ford F-350, (1) car, (3) All Terrain Vehicles, (2) snowmobiles, (1) utility trailer, a cross bow and ammunition were seized. Prior to the search warrant a 2nd stolen truck was also recovered from the same property.
41 year old James Nunweiller of Cold Lake was arrested and is facing (8) counts of possession of property obtained by crime, (3) counts of altering or removing a VIN number, and (2) counts of possessing a cross-bow and ammunition while prohibited.

Both James Nunweiller and Jason Nunweiller appeared before a Justice of the Peace and were released on $2,500.00 cash bail to attend Cold Lake Provincial Court on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, at 10:00 a.m.
