A single vehicle rollover, near Pierce land, has claimed the life of one man.
On July 7th, around 6:00pm the Pierceland RCMP responded to to a single vehicle rollover, on a gravel road, three kilometres east of the Alberta border.
It is believed the driver of the vehicle, a 54 year old man from Cold Lake, Alberta, lost control of his vehicle and rolled. The man was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the vehicle.
The RCMP, along with Pierceland Fire, Cold Lake Fire, and Cold Lake EMS were attended the scene, where the man was pronounced dead.
Due to the amount of rain the area had received, road conditions were poor and contributed to the rollover.
