Thieves Rummaging Through Vehicles: Bonnyville
At approximately 3:00 am on June 14th, three male suspects were spotted in a white Pontiac Grand G6 driving around the neighborhoods of Elk Haven and Willow Ridge. They where checking vehicle doors and stealing contents from any unlocked vehicles they came across. They may have also been checking residence doors to see if they were unlocked.
Residents are reminded to lock their vehicles at night and to arm their alarm systems if they have them and ensure their motion lights are operating properly if they have them. Anyone with information regarding these events is asked to contact the Bonnyville RCMP.
Stolen Vehicles:
– On June 9th at 2:50 pm a Grey GMC Sierra Denali was stolen from the 4500 block of 47th Ave. Alberta Licence Plate: BHH 0833
– On June 9th at 1:00 am a blue Ford F350 was stolen from a rural residence on RR 452 just East of Bonnyville. On June 12th the truck was recovered in the Elk Point area and a 19 year old male and a 16 year old male youth, both from Frog Lake have been arrested and charged. They appear in Bonnyville court on June 21st.
– Between June 10 – 12 a red Can Am 800 Outlander quad was stolen from a residence on RR 453 just East of Bonnyville.
– Between June 1-7 a 2013 Red Honda Motorcycle was stolen from Hwy 657 near Twp 600.
