Kids’ Used Book Sale

On now until books are gone!

Come in soon for best selection. Items are sold “as is”. Fort McMurray evacuees are welcome to come in and choose some books free of charge.

 

  MAKE IT @ the Library: Watercolours 

Tuesday, May 31st, 4-5pm

Grades 5-12

Head to the library for our second Make It! Event.  This time we’ll be making our own watercolour palette! All materials will be provided.

 

 Geocaching 101

Saturday, June 4th, 1:30-2:30 pm

All Ages

Did you know there are hundreds of geocaches around you right now? Want to learn how to find them? Join us at the library to learn all about geocaching, the platforms available, and some major events coming up this summer (spoiler alert- the Lakeland is hosting WestCan6 MEGA Event this July!).

 

Craft and Chat

Every Wednesday 1-2pm

All ages welcome

Bring your current projects (or supplies to start on) for an afternoon of crafting, chatting and coffee. We will have resources available for inspiration too!

 

Book Club

We meet the first Wednesday of each month from 6:30-8:00 p.m. On June 1, we will discuss “The Invention of Wings” by Sue Monk Kidd.  Please join us, new members are always welcome!

 

Story Time

Every Wednesday morning at 9:15 OR 10:30.

Share in stories, songs and a craft.  Suggested age level is 3-5 years.

 

Rhyme Time

Every Thursday morning at 9:30 OR 10:30.

Interact with your child using rhymes, songs and stories.  Suggested age level is 0-3 years.
