The Boys & Girls Club of Bonnyville has released a statement thanking several community organizations:
We would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge some of the community groups that have supported us in the last couple months. A huge thank-you to Microtel. We did not win the Commonground contest but they still gave the Boys and Girls Club of Bonnyville $1000.00! Another huge thank-you to Cougar Fuels for a very generous donation of $534.10. This is such a huge help to our program! We would also like to pass on a special thank-you to the Dove Center and it’s staff. There is a bottle bin at the Dove Center that allows people to leave empties to support the club. The Dove Center staff count these bottles for us each month and ensure the funds get to us. Thank-you! These donations ensure the club has funds for activities and supplies for the youth of our club.
Thank-you also to the support that we have received from our local FCSS and Lakeland United Way!
If there is enough interest in having programming at the club through the summer we will be open! Please call the club to enquire. (780) 826 – 3037.
