St. Paul Reception Centre Closed Effective Mon May 16 at 4PM

The St. Paul Evacuee Reception Centre will be closed effective Monday, May 16th at 4:00 pm. The Reception Centre, orginally located at the Rec Centre was moved last week to the FCSS building, will be closed as the need is no longer there to keep it active.

Breakfast and lunch will be available Monday at the Reception Centre for evacuees. Reception Centre services will also remain open at the Reception Centre until 4:00 p.m. Monday May 16th Shuttle Services for evacuees will continue to run until 4:00 p.m. Friday May 20th through the St. Paul Action Bus. Additional agencies will be available to assist with outstanding evacuee needs and services including:

  • Service Canada
  • AB Works
  • AISH (Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped)
  • Alberta Health Services including Primary Care Network
  • PDD  Canadian Red Cross
  • Personal Services
  • Registration & Inquiry
  • Lodging

As of May 17th Reception Centre will be relocated to both Town and County FCSS offices as well as through the other responsible agencies listed above. Donations that have been received for evacuees will continue to be distributed and available through S.P.A.N., both FCSS Offices and the Crisis Centre .For any further information evacuees can contact the FCSS Offices listed above.
