Bonnyville’s Ecole Notre Dame High School (ENDHS) is hosting THINKfast this weekend. Principal Pamela Guilbault says THINKfast is a way for student to gain perspective and understanding of the world they live in.
“It is a 24 retreat/fundraiser where the students fast and raise money for those in need,” explains Principal Guilbault. ” The underlying lesson is for them to lessen about going without and how our society is one of prosperity. We will have a night of worship at the school gym with the baptist church, the alliance church also participating. It will be songs and worship.”
THINKfast is an interactive learning experience designed for youth. You can choose from a collection of activities and reflections that will help you and your group experience the challenges of poverty and injustice in concrete ways. Thinkfast this weekend at the school.
“The night of worship starts tonight 8:00 pm and is open for the public,” Principal Guilbault says students will be raising money for the Fort McMurray Relief efforts, “the fundraising consists of making pallets book shelves for sale- 25$ each, a bottle drive. All proceeds are going to Ft. Mac.”
