Lakeland Co-op is a proud leader in the community. “We are asking for your generous community spirit to help our neighbours to the north,” says General Manager of Lakeland Coop Marco Bouvier.
“Lakeland Co-op is accepting monetary donations on behalf of the Red Cross Fort McMurray Fire Relief,” the Coop will be accepting donations, as well as hosting a week-long bottle drive, says Bouvier. Lakeland Co-op will be matching all local donations brought into the Co-op up to $10,000.
“This means that for every dollar donated at Lakeland Co-op, the Red Cross will receive $4.00 in support.” Bouvier explains $1.00 from customer, $1.00 from Lakeland Co-op matching, $1.00 from provincial government matching and $1.00 from federal government matching.
