Town and M.D. of Bonnyville request Donations be Directed to Red Cross
The Town of Bonnyville and Municipal District of Bonnyville thank our residents for their overwhelming support for the evacuees of Fort McMurray.
However, representatives from the Town and M.D. respectfully request residents refrain from dropping off donations of clothing, furniture, toys, etc. If a need arises for specific items, the Town and the M.D. will publish a list on their websites (www.town.bonnyville.ab.ca or www.md.bonnyville.ab.ca) and social media accounts (Facebook – www.facebook.com/MDBonnyville) Twitter – @MDBville).
At this time, there is an overabundance of these items. Those wishing to donate or give in some way are encouraged to do so through the Canadian Red Cross (www.redcross.ca) or other non-government organizations and local fundraising drives.
