Author Visit

Wednesday, May 4, 7:30 pm

We are excited to have local author, Billi J Miller join us to discuss her book FarmWives in Profile. As a writer/photographer Billi is passionate about celebrating the lives of the farmwives who have contributed significantly to the patchwork of Canadian Heritage. She currently lives in Kitscoty, Alberta on a 100 year old farm.

 

Book Club

We meet the first Wednesday of each month from 6:30-8:00 p.m. On May 4, we will chat about “The Island” by Victoria Hislop.  Please join us, new members are always welcome!

 

  Coding Workshop: Scratch

Thursday, May 12th, 5-6pm

Grades 5-8

Love playing web games on your computer or phone? Want to learn how to code your own game? Come learn how to use the computer code language scratch to create your own picture based game or program.

  MAKE IT @ the Library: Watercolours 

Tuesday, May 31st 4-5pm

Grades 5-12

Head to the library for our second Make It! Event.  This time we’ll be making our own watercolour palette! All materials will be provided.

 

Story Time

Every Wednesday morning at 9:15 OR 10:30.

Share in stories, songs and a craft.  Suggested age level is 3-5 years.

 

Rhyme Time

Every Thursday morning at 9:30 OR 10:30.

Interact with your child using rhymes, songs and stories.  Suggested age level is 0-3 years.

 

Craft and Chat

Every Wednesday 2-3pm

All ages welcome

Bring your current projects (or supplies to start on) for an afternoon of crafting, chatting and coffee. We will have resources available for inspiration, too.
