The Cold Lake RCMP were on routine patrols at 3:20 am, on April 16th, when they observed a vehicle traveling south in the northbound lanes,of Highway 28, after leaving the Edge Sports Lounge, in Cold Lake. The officer pulled the vehicle over and arrested the driver.

“Very dangerous driving, obviously, when you’re driving on the wrong side of the highway, with oncoming vehicles,” S/Sgt, of the Cold Lake Detachment, Jeremie Landry says it was a good thing the police caught the man, “it was fortunate the RCMP officer was so close and witnessed this happening . He was able to stop it, before somebody got hurt.”
