Non-Profits Wanted for Roadside Cleanup Program
With spring officially here, the Municipal District (MD) of Bonnyville is looking for non-profit organizations who want to make some extra money. The Agriculture & Waste Department at the MD is calling on charitable groups for its annual roadside cleanup program.
The MD will pay $40 to $100 a kilometre, depending on the road that is being cleaned, some roads require more cleaning than others.
Clean up efforts will start as soon as April, depending on the weather. Last year 13 groups cleaned over 141 km of roads. Interested groups can call the Ag and Waste Department at 780-826-3951.
